Important Information

Registration opens at 7:30am and the program begins at 8:15am. The official walk start is 9:00am. Making Strides is a RAIN OR SHINE event! Arrive early to plan to be there for the 8:15am program. Making Strides Against Breast Cancer is a 3 mile walk. 

Check-in

Sign up online for easy check-in the day of the walk. All event participants, including children, need to register for the walk. If you do not register online prior to the event, please visit the check-in area upon arrival.

Location

Gas Works Park is located at 2101 N Northlake Way in Seattle. Please be aware that the following roads with be CLOSED by 7:30am:

• Northlake Way between Woodlawn and Phinney

• N Canal St between Phinney and 1st Ave

Opening Ceremony

Come together with survivors, caregivers, men and women from all walks of life who are passionate about saving lives from breast cancer. Celebrate your shared efforts. Inspire each other to carry on. And take comfort in the knowledge that because of your dedication, no one walks alone.

Walk Begins

We all walk together, but our event is not a race. Stop whenever you want or need to. There will be two water stations along the route, as well as at the finish line. You absolutely do not need to complete the entire walk if you are unable. The walk concludes when the final walker crosses the finish line.
